Tribal Health Department

It is the goal of the Health Department to assist Tribal members in achieving and maintaining the highest level of health possible. The Health Department provides care for acute and chronic illnesses as well as prevention education and intervention.

You are eligible for services at the clinic if you are an enrolled member of a federally recognized tribe. Specific eligibility requirements apply for specialty and referral care.

The Health Department consists of two major areas: Health Administration and Health Department Clinics.

Health Administration

The Health Administration Department assists with third-party resource billing and receipts. Health Administration also assists with contract health services and maintains agreements with outside providers. Assistance is also available to help determine eligibility for and availability of alternate resources for individual patients.

Normal Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.

Per Indian Health Policy:
Please be advised that if you have a child under 18 years of age and you want them to be seen at the Health Department, Dental or Primary Care or Behavioral Health, that a parent or legal guardian MUST accompany the minor child under 18 years of age to their appointments at Health Department. If you would like to add additional adult please go to Medical Records and fill out Designated Adult paperwork prior to the visit.

Diabetic Support Group, Diabetic Outreach, Diabetes Camp, data entry, Medical Records maintenance, Patient Registration, and School Health Programs. Other activities sponsored by the Health Department include Senior Olympics, Health Fairs, and Medical and Nursing Student preceptorships and clinical rotations.
