Daniel McGhee
Daniel McGhee is a graduate of the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa where he
was consistently named to both the President's and Dean's list. He was also inducted
into the Honor Society of PHI KAPPA PHI for his academic achievements. He
currently resides in the local community with his wife Jaime and three sons.
Following in the leadership footsteps of his father, former Council member
Bobby McGhee and his Great Grandfather, the late Tribal Chief Calvin McGhee,
Mr. McGhee has served as an elected member of the Poarch Band of Creek Indians
Tribal Council since June of 2000 and currently holds the office of Tribal Council
Secretary. He also serves on the Tribe's Pow Wow Committee, Recreation
Committee, and as Chairman of the Education Committee. He is an alumni of the
Leadership Atmore Program and Vice President of Huxford Elementary PTO.
He is also an accomplished artist and graphic designer.
Mr. McGhee has been employed with the Tribe since 1996, Formerly
Community Relations Director, Tribal Administrator of the Tribe's Gaming Regulatory and
Compliance Commission, and is currently the Site Manager for Creek Entertainment
Center.
